Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal

Shopping, restaurants and views of Tokyo Bay await

Tokyo Haneda Airport is the only airport within Tokyo Prefecture, and has an increasing number of visitors and attractions emerging each year. Winning the award for World’s Best Domestic Airport, and Best Airport Terminal Cleanliness, your journey through Haneda Airport is sure to be a smooth one.

The domestic terminal consists of terminal 1 and terminal 2. Terminal 1 is used primarily for Japan Airlines and minor airlines such as Skymark Airlines, Star Flyer and Japan Transocean Air. Terminal 2 houses All Nippon Airways (ANA) as well as Air Do, Solaseed Air and Star Flyer. Travelers can easily move between the International terminal and domestic terminals by free shuttle bus or the Keikyu monorail line every five minutes. The two domestic terminals are well connected by an underground corridors as well.

Terminal 1 houses six storeys whereas terminal 2 is a five story building with an arrival lobby located on the first floor, departure lobby on the second, and many shops and restaurants above. Most of the restaurants in Haneda Airport are carefully selected from western to traditional Japanese style and you can enjoy some decent Japanese cuisine at Hitoshinaya or Kyozen, located on 2nd and 3rd floor of Terminal 1. There are also wide variety of shops from Japanese snacks and sweets to clothing and bags from international brands. Japanese souvenir shops are located in every floor of the building for your convenience. One of the specialties of Haneda Airport is the observation deck located on the top floor with its air rooftop café to watch beautiful views of Tokyo Bay while planes arrive and depart.

Shopping Options

Set your inner child free at Juveniland. Find countless toys, gadgets and limited goods available in this store of dreams. Open from 9:00-19:30, it is located on the third floor of Terminal 1.

Try some of Japan’s finest oil blotting papers brought to you by Yojiya. Do not miss out on the aloe oil blotting paper, a limited edition found only at the Haneda Airport store. Absorb the excess oil off your face and enjoy a fresh skin anytime. A relaxing cafe with Kyoto-themed sweets is also connected to the store. Found on the B1F, and open from 7:00-20:00 (last order at cafe is 19:30).

Find a wide variety of specially selected goods and products from different regions at Tokyo’s Tokyo. A lovely place to find the perfect souvenir, it is a fun place full of unique items and original goods. Found at Terminal 2, open from 9:00-19:30.

Visit the Discovery Museum located on the third floor at Terminal 2, a great introduction to some of Japan’s art and culture. With no admission fee, it is an easily accessible exhibit of Japanese artefacts. Celebrating the 400th anniversary since Tokugawa Ieyasu’s death, the museum is currently displaying a collection of his treasures. Open from 11:00-18:00.

Hotel Information

Both domestic terminals are open from 5:00–23:30, but if you arrive outside this time you can stay at the Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu in Terminal 2. Royal Park Hotel The Haneda is also walking distance from Keikyu line Haneda Airport International station.
